So, last Saturday we had our home marching band competition where we hosted other marching bands and color guards It was really cool, and then it came time for us, AAAAA(biggest competing high school size) to go on. Well, this year during the ballad of our show, the batter all put down their drums, go over to tables behind the pit on the front sideline, and start ringing bells. Well, of course the battery doesn't set their own tables; nooooo, Mr. Hannan and the parents do. However, something got screwed up on Saturday, so after I had set my rifle I had to help move the tables. Well, the rest of the color guard had set by then, so I kinda freaked and jazz ran out to join them. Wet astro turf + jazz shoes + my natural clumsiness = my ankle rolling under me, me falling on and rolling off my ankle. I performed the show(like HELL I was gonna sit out; we were already missing 3 girls), and then my sister and my friend carried me off the field when we were done and after the lead snare started tapping for us to go. It was embarassing, and painful What it comes down to is that I have a sprained ankle :( But I can still perform! I just gotta wear a brace for a little, and then it'll be all good
